We set up a number of inventory items setup using FIFO Perpetual instead of what we wanted FIFO Periodic. There are no unposted batches except some sales batches with Sales Orders in them. The Change Valuation routine worked for all but a couple of hunderd items. Since Sales Orders can not really be posted, would these still be preventing the utility from changing the Valuation Method?

Steve, GP will not process a valuation change on any item on a Sales Order. I'm guessing that, even though the SO is not a transaction, it does create an allocation against the item which could possibly impact the value of COGS when the item is invoiced.
