To set up the CRM 2016 and sharepoint 2016 the following steps I had followed.

CRM :

Version:2016

Security: http

Sharepoint

Version:2013 sp1 (no update installed, only service pack 1 installed)
Security:https

1) Single Farm - done

2) SharePoint and CRM domain one.

3)blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/.../configure-ssl-for-sharepoint-2013

Based on the above URL the SharePoint site configured as HTTPS certificate

4) App Management Service Application Proxy - Started.  but no app created in my site collection

5) User Profile Service Application - Started. Profiles are synchronised and associated with the function User Profile Service are working.

The following power shell successfully run

$c.AllowMetadataOverHttp = $true
$c.AllowOAuthOverHttp= $true
$c.Update()
$i = New-SPTrustedSecurityTokenIssuer –Name "crm" –IsTrustBroker:$false –MetadataEndpoint 192.168.1.203/.../json

$CrmRealmId = "9377673d-66dd-4779-adab-8e31ec4ccbe7"
$Identifier = "00000007-0000-0000-c000-000000000000@" + $CrmRealmId
$site = Get-SPSite "london/.../CRMDocument"
Register-SPAppPrincipal -site $site.RootWeb -NameIdentifier $Identifier -DisplayName "crm"

$app = Get-SPAppPrincipal -NameIdentifier $Identifier -Site "london/.../CRMDocument"
Set-SPAppPrincipalPermission -AppPrincipal $app -Site $site.Rootweb -Scope "sitecollection" -Right "FullControl" -EnableAppOnlyPolicy

#"Set up claims-based authentication mapping"
New-SPClaimTypeMapping -IncomingClaimType "schemas.xmlsoap.org/.../emailaddress" -IncomingClaimTypeDisplayName "EmailAddress" -SameAsIncoming

There is no app available in my site collection. How should i get Sharepoint realm id.

Should i need to create app manually in my site collection? If it is could you please share with me how?

    Hei,

You should go to "Site Settings". Under the "User and Premissions" -----> "Site App permissions" -----> Copy the GUID after @ sign.

    Hope it helps :-)

    Good Luck

I have the same issue that there is no app at the advised location after successful completion of the TechNet article for server-side synchronization.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you.

I also had the same issue.

You can run following Powershell command in SharePoint server (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn949332.aspx#GetSPRealm)

    Get-SPAuthenticationRealm -ServiceContext https://<your sharepoint site>/sites/crm/

I have no experience in setting up this integration, but I do have a lot of hands-on experience on registering apps in SharePoint.

You could do this manually if that's an option. Here's a good blog post that describes these steps:http://www.wictorwilen.se/sharepoint-online-app-only-policy-powershell-tasks-with-acs

    These are the main steps

    1. Register a new app at /_layouts/15/appregnew.aspx
    2. Give that app permissions at /_layouts/15/appinv.asp

The blog post also has some steps te retreive the realm. But if you go to /_layouts/15/appprincipals.aspx you can also get the realm. It's this part of the string at the right side of the page after the @:

    2016_2D00_10_2D00_07-08_5F00_54_5F00_34_2D00_Site-Collection-App-Permissions.png

    Hope this helps
