Hello Richard,
There is an installation guide after you install 2018 program files on its server (this would be BEFORE you move any datatabases) or you can download the guide from Partnersource or Customersource where the documents for installation and system requirements would be helpful.
I would suggest you create a case in support for any additional guidance.
