Customer hierarchy

We have Dynamics CRM and D365 F&O as ERP.

we are having issues in finding the ideal customer model so that both the systems should be in sync.We have pretty flexible hierarchy available in CRM where you can have multiple child accounts upto M level (parent is A-Child is B-Super Child is C) .But in F&O we have accounts and have ship to's Bill to's,Sell to's

During integration how do we manage this complexity and what is best practice to set up customers/accounts in both

    Hello Subhajit,

    In D365FO, there is the relationship to display the relation of organization.

    But the most important is that invoice account must be the parent account on the customer master.

    Thanks Matt,

    In CRM it supports multi level hiearchy but in f&o thats not the case.

    How we handle ships to's in CRM as divisions of hospitals are not legal entity and they are ship to os erp but we plan to make them as sub account in CRM to support multi level reporting and multi level assignments of reps.
