Ok I compared HQ item count it has 34083 show all items. The stores have 37534 show all items. How do I compare whats different? Also Is there away of showing the Items in HQ that don't have store records?
A quick and dirty way is to open the Items page and compare the quantity in the upper right to the store(s)
You must delete the Item in SO of each store, create a new Item in HQ and send it down with a 250. Then the store needs to change the qty via a transfer, PO receive or a physical inventory. If a PI, HQ must then do a 501 and then a 190
Is there SQL query that would identify how many items in HQ that need fixing. I agree I need to disable creation and deletion at store. I don't see how that would delete store quantity in HQ. Also is there SQL query that would recreate the item - store table in HQ then we just update qty? Then send 250 and update qty. thanks
Probably. You should turn off Item creation/deletion at the store level to prevent this.
I have tried the sending the 501 to 2 stores and after completed. Run the 190 and I am looking for a couple of items that the store quantity is blank and they are still blank. They dont even show up on the 190 report. Do I need to delete item in all store db and recreate in HQ and resend?
At the active stores run a 501 worksheet and then after they've responded, run a Task 190 to updated the counts.
With FP2 (2.0.1000), you can make a store Inactive.
