Hi all,

I have a requirement to track the technicians(resources) from MS CRM when he changes his location by field service mobile app. please suggest.

Hi Abi,

You set up the gps tracking here:

These audit record are stored in CRM in Settings > Mobile Auditing > Mobile Auditing Records

There is this new 'Location Tracking' config but it has just been released and has no current documentation yet.

Download the woodford tool. Only works in Internet Explorer.

Open up or create a project.

The auditing should be here.

The Auditing Settings tracks the Technicians location using when ever the user makes updates to certain records or travels a certain distance with the mobile device. This depends on what options you choose to track the technicians on.

Then the location records should be generated in the Mobile Auditing Records section which shows the Technicians Longitude and Latitude and what kind of action the Technician did at the time.

In terms of glympse i'm not sure what the set up is for that as I have never used it before.
