Creating a Transfer Order

Good Afternoon All,

I have a questions about creating a transfer order.

To give a bit of information first, at my company we use A/X as a retail tool and not quite as the intention of being a back end warehouse tool. So we have our main warehouse that we use to make transfers from to move product from location to location however each location is labelled as a warehouse as well in A/X.

The problem we are having. When we try to transfer products with variants (codes with multiple sizes in it) I can not just select all and load and then update quantities on the next screen. I have to go to each individual code and set quantity to 1 even if i will be order many more than 1 so it loads in the next screen where I can then update quantities and actual begin to do my ordering. This process takes depending on the day up to 4 hours which is well wasted. Is there a way that if I am to load a variant code that i can select all drop it in the next screen and then figure out the quantities I need to order??

What form are you referring to? it is not clear from your question.

Can you provide a menu path?

Inventory and warehouse management/ perodic/ transfers orders

Then you would create new set the parameters of the from warehouse and to warehouse. At that point you have an option for "add" or "add products" the question that i have relates specifically to the "add products" tab. So when you hit add products if you have a code that is a variant meaning it has multiple sizes to the code if you want to load that product code in to the ordering form you have to add 1 of each size instead of loading the sizes without a quantity.

Hopefully this helps and any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose the other question would be is it possible to have all my codes in and excel sheet and then import the quantities i want to order from excel in to A/X??
