Moving data centres - Shutting down AX and all related servers

Hi

We will be moving data centres due to a change in service providers we would like some information on shutting down the related AX servers.

4 AOS Servers including 1 batch server

1 SQL Server

1 SQL Replication Server

Is there an order these need to be shutdown and rebooted again?

Any advice on this will be appreciated.

    Basically you want to shut down the AOS services first, one by one (wait until the one shutting down is stopped before stopping a new one). No necessary order is required (can start with the batch one).

    Then the replication and the main SQL Server.

    Thanks Lulian for your response, do the services need to be stopped and then the server shut down, or can server just be shut down? Also are there any issues you can see occuring or anything we should be cautious off.

    Oh, never shutdown the servers (machines) directly. You need to stop each AOS service first.

    Thanks just wanted to check the managed services company is doing this however we want make sure the servers are brought down correctly. Thanks for you advise.
