I Changed the Strength for the Variant Code as it is very tall in our Business , System start to Accept in many Forms , but it also stacks in some , it shows me that Strength is more than 10.

and While Debugging the Error , System is Searching for Code unit No. 7010 ,

The Code Line is (Temp purch line or Discount) some thing like that , Kindly help me to solve that issue.

I know from previous experience that the Variant Code is used in VERY many places in the code (several hundred places) - which all need to be modified. So:

Please do not extend the Variant Code!

As Mohana it is recommeneded not to increase the standard field length but in somecases that may not suffice your needs so you have to make a change but when you make such changes you should change that in all different places where it is used. You can use tools like Object Manager IDYN or Prism to find where that field was used and change the length of the field in all those instances to avoid the errrors.

You have to change in all places where variant code is used in coding as a variable or in other tables etc.

I suggest not to increase length and read this blog
