In the last version of D365 for Finance and Operations I have checked the weekend days and some Holidays as closed for pickup, however they still appear as normal in the timesheet.
Is there any other setup that I am missing?
Hi,
The project timesheets are not looking at this parameters which is for the purpose of logistics. Usually, people write bank holiday hours for public holidays.
Thank you, Andre,
How is this done? I can only close a day from the calendar.
Best regards,
Petya
Hi Petya,
Like mentioned above, there is no setting to block a date for the project timesheets. You would need a manual validation or customization.
Hello
I am using Finance and Operation and we have closed for pickup all the holidays and statutory holidays. Some users can't enter time on these day but some other can.
We have checked the calendar associated to these user it is the same one.
To explain:
User A with calendar A can't put hours on 1st of January
User B with calendar B can put hours on 1st of January.
Timesheet setup is taking which calendar ? user's one or the one is the setup ?
THank you
Hi Meggie, make sure that you run the "update worker hours" from the calendar. If this hasn't been done then users that are associated with the calendar prior to updating it with bank holidays will not be updated with the bank holiday, but users assigned to it after will have them.
Feel free to reach out to me if more assistance is needed.
