Can we move Activities across entities?

Is it possible to move Activities across entities.

For example: I want to associate Opportunity Activities to the Account that the Opportunity belongs to. Is that doable?

I would check that the Activity record is in "Close" status such Task completed.  Need to set the status to "Open" for any changes.

Thanks...I just need the Activity to reference one entity ...just move the association for the activity from 1 entity to another..however this does not seem to happen with import/export ..

The CRM Activities out of the box Regarding field could be use to related to custom entities.  However the regarding field tracks only one relationship vs multiple.

There is option to configure a new field to associate an Activity type such as Appointment/Task/Phone Call/etc to reference another entity.  This may be to track both Opportunity and a custom entity.

    Hello.

When you create an activity and add this activity to an opportunity which is associated with an account, you can see this activity directly under the account. This is a out of the box function in CRM... but be careful, it's only working for Account and Contact... and the other entities must be a child of them.

Activities with the FROM and TO attributes appear under all the accounts and contacts that are listed in the two fields.

    Kind regards,

    Karsten
