Contact and Account views views "Contacts/Accounts Being Followed" and "Contacts/Accounts I Follow" cannot be taken into a solution

Hi All,

Can I know the reason why "Contacts Being Followed" and "Contacts I Follow" cannot be taken in solution and migrate it to another organization?

    Hi Nilesh,

    I tested it in my environment and also encountered this problem.

    After searching for relevant information, I found that it was by design.

    "On further analysis, turned out that the 'Accounts I Follow' and 'Accounts Being Followed' Views are treated bit differently since these Views are driven by the Activity Feeds functionality. Hence any changes to these Views must be handled manually in the higher environment and it wont be part of the solution migration."

    The only way I can think of is to create two new custom public views based on "Contacts Being Followed" and "Contacts I Follow" so that they can be imported into other environments as custom views.
