Duplicate Records Ignore and Save Button

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to disable the Ignore and Save button on the Duplicate records found screen or even better how we can restrict it to only allow specified users to have access to it? Looking through the resources out there someone has suggested the only way to achieve this is by creating a plugin?

Hi,

OOB it is not possible to disable for specific user.

You can either enable or disable it for all users of organisation.

But you can try the below logic.

1. Create one security role (like Allow DDR Rule ) -- you can give any name

2. Write a plugin on create operation

3. Check if user does not have the role then set below property false:
