I want to customize the + button of subgrid because the requirement is to show existing contact and add them contacts in subgrid.

But + button of subgrid pop-up a new contact form to add a new contact, but i want to add existing contact and this functionality is appear when i open the associated view.

So, my need is through + button of subgrid i want to add existing contact.

Is it possible?

Hi Shakti,

Sorry for the mistake in your name.

I have done the same steps and it is working for me.

Created a new lookup field to Case in Contact entity and made Field Requirement as Optional.

Added a subgrid of Contacts on Case Form as follows:

On clicking + button in Contacts subgrid, it will popup the existing contact records as shown below.

If I changed the field requirement level of lookup field to Case in Contact entity as Business Required, it will show new form.

This is the actual behavior in Dynamics 365.

Hi Shakthi,

You should choose the entity as Contacts(Case (Contact)) and see if it is opening existing record on adding new contact in subgrid.

Blue color highlighted field i will used in subgrid of contact.

Are you choosing the correct entity in the related entity list in Subgrid Properties? See the screenshot below.
