Great Plains will not launch for one user on a terminal server

I have one user who can not get to the Great Plains login screen - she gets the "Microsoft Dynamics GP has encountered a problem and Needs to Close"   Even log shows an Event 1000.

I have looked and tried things with Reports dictionaries, and even adding this user as an admin on our networked.  Nothing fixed the problem.

I can right click and run as administrator, type in my password and Great Plains runs just fine with her network session login, and my run as login for Great Plains.

Doing the revese, if I am logged in on the network, and try a run as that user, I get the same message and Great Plains will not even make it to the Login screen.

Since it works for my other 15 users I am confused.  This started happening with the recent year end/tax updates.  It has been going on for about a month and nothing my consultant suggested has worked either.

We run GP 10.

Ideas?

Have you tried creating a new user?   Could be a corrupt user.   Was that the user that ran the update?

yes, I have created a new user in active directory for her and copied her security to the new user of her first name and last initial (the original user is just her first name).  She can log into the network as this user and use Great Plains.  I don't want to have to blow away users and recreate them in order to maintain the same my document folder and email...

My user is the one that ran the update.

This is an old one but I am having the same issue.  Generally this happens with one or 2 users every couple of days.  We have GP 10 and 5 Citrix servers.  This will happen on all 5 of the servers, so it isn't just one client messed up.  It seems to happen first thing in the morning.  All 5 servers reboot every night.  Basically one user will launch GP, will enter logon credentials and then GP crashes.  He then goes back into GP and it is fine.  All I see is that useless message in the Dexterity event log saying that the description can't be found.

Did you ever find a solution to this?  Do we really have to delete and re-add the users active directory account?  Is that basically the only solution?
