Sales Pricing

Is there a way to set a % markup or margin based on certain criteria. For instance, for this customer group, the markup is 3% and for a different customer group it is 7%.

Ultimately, a combination of customer price group + item price group determines the markup % used but just wondering what is available - am I missing something?

Thanks for any suggestions.

    RE: Sales Pricing

    Hi there

Markups can be applied within the trade agreement (pre-emptively) during creation, using the Adjustment functionality.

    From the trade agreement journal:

    1. Click the Adjustment button > Adjustment

    2. Click on the Price field drop down

    3. Select Cost price or Current, depending on what you want to make the calculation based on

    4. Enter your desired % or amount, that you want the system to calculate the adjustment by

    5. Click okay

    6. The system will then automatically update the Amount in currency on ALL trade agreement lines that exist within the journal

In your scenario, you must first create the required lines, with your desired combination of Customer group / Item. The adjustment functionality can then be used to achieve the rest.

As a second option, the Excel editor could also be used to apply logic / formula etc to calculate the prices based on your requirement.

As a third option, functionality also exists in the Retail module to manage prices (See category price rules)

I don't think it is available such a feature.
