Field Service Mobile App Notes Attachments Issue

We have found that when using the Field Service Mobile App on a tablet that when clicking attachments on Notes you only get the option to attach a photo. You only appear to be able to attach documents if you run Field Service in a browser on the tablet is this a known issue and is there a way around it?

I have the same question (0)

what OS are you using (Android/Apple) and what version of the FSM App, etc. I have yet to see this issue, except in very early versions of FSM App

The D365 Field Service Mobile app supports upload of Text, Video, Audio, Images as well as file attachments. The standard Timeline control supports text, images, audio, and video, while the new Notes experience shown: docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-power-app-use supports text, photos, video, audio, and files.

I am experiencing the same behavior in new FS app (v13.21064.23.0) on IOS (v14.6). When I click on attach icon from the timeline, it directly opens my photo album. I am unable to attached any document from mobile app.

Are you sure that the Field Service Application hasn't defaulted the action of clicking the attachment to automatically open the photo album?

You may need to clear defaults from the Field Service application - www.quora.com/How-do-I-undo-remember-my-choice-in-a-Redmi-Note-8

We are using the Android version of the Field Service Mobile App and it is the latest version and it still defaults to photos and there appears no way to navigate to attach other file types.

Yes, this is current behavior of the Timeline control.

The Notes control will support file attachments. docs.microsoft.com/.../mobile-power-app-use
