Hi,
OOTB, the MS mobile field service app (version 11.1.103.0) displays limited data on the 'Booking' Calendar in each available view, Agenda, Day, Week, and Month. We need to modify the displayed data to better reflect our business requirements.
Is this possible, and if so, would you be able to point me to how/where in Woodford this would be done?
Much Appreciated,
Brent
Sorry I should’ve clarified. The new mobile app with the new field service mobile project file. You can either have a workflow in Dynamics update the booking name field OR you can try exactly what you indicated. To be consistent, I’ve used workflows to update the name field in Dynamics.
Hi Scott,
Thanks for your help. I have updated to the new version. It seems to behave the same as the older version in this regard. By default the information that appears on the Agenda, Day, Week, and Month views is set by the first field in the BRB Public View in Woodford. The OOTB first field in that View is Work Order. I changed it to Primary Incident and now the Primary Incident show on all Booking Views on the mobile App.
I have not been able to find a control that would allow different BRB Public Views to be mapped to a particulate Bookings calendar view. Strangely the Windows Desktop mobile app does show the Start Time as well as the first field in the BRB Public View. No idea how that happens.
One potential solutions that I have not tried yet is to use the BRB Public View Row Script capability to concatenate the fields that I want to show into the first field on the Public View.
Thanks for you assistance!
Brent
Thanks Thomas. I have tried that with no success. When I create a new Calendar and enable BRB, the booking are not showing up in the new Calendar.
Thanks for your help.
Can you provide an example of what it is you’re looking for and what you see? I assume you’re just seeing the work order number. The new version has additional details OOB. The 2017 version you can write a workflow to update the resource requirement name field with additional details.

This is at least how it worked some time ago.
Hi 2shoes,
I found out that you need to go into Woodford and select 'Calendar'. Then add the Bookable Resource Booking entity. Then you can add your views there.
Thanks Shayan
Your help is much appreciated!
I am able to create additional Views. My problem now is...how to map/associate the new views to the MS Mobile App booking calendar for Day, Week, and Month. The OOTB BRB Public View maps to the Agenda. So far, I am unable to find out where/how the Day, Week, and Month mobile app views get their data?
Best Regards,
Brent
Hello 2Shoes,
In addition to public view, you may create more views on BRB entity in Woodford. Each view can show different information. Then, if you are on month view you can select the view that you created on Woodford and so on with other views such as week and days view.
Regards,
Shayan
Thanks Thomas,
OOTB there is a Public View that determines the displayed Agenda Fields. That said, I am unable to determine what controls the Day, Week, and Month Views. For instance, both the Day and Week Views only display the Service Account. There is no View OOTB in the BRB Entity that just shows Service Account, so I don't know where that is coming from.
Go to the bookable resource booking entity and edit the view e.g. blog.resco.net/.../how-to-set-up-flexible-list-view-designs-in-resco-mobile-crm
Cant remember if you can update the calendar view but give it a go
