Hi all,
I have an extension to an entity. The fields added in the extension are not generated on the staging table. Taking a look at added fields properties shows that the property Save Contents is defaulted to No and the property is not editable. So the staging table is not updated/generated with the extension
What controls the Save Contents property on an extension of an entity?

Hi,
Save contents property are managed as per available Indexes(Primary, clustered or Non-clustered). e.g., Custtable has Accountnum field available within a Index and so if you'll add it in Entity fields, Save contents property will be set as YES.
`Reg Entity extension, it can be done, but on creating a Data entity extension its not possible to regenrate/update staging table(as it will cause overlayering).
However, you can find out a staging table of an Entity and create same fields(with same name and properties as on extension of data entity) here to use it for data import/export and obviously to deal with large set of data.
