Functional currency change

Are there anything to watch out for if we want to change the functional currency from CAD to USD in GP? Would it affect the current integrations we have? Or we are better off asking our GP partner to analyze our GP environment and go from there? Any insight to this is highly appreciated.

You cannot change the Functional Currency once you've posted transactions in a company. I just tried it to see what kind of an error message you get - here it is: "Activity for this currency already exists. The functional currency can't be changed."

We haven't change it. We are just exploring if it's possible and if it is what would it affect.

I didn't think you could change the functional currency once it is established. Are you able to change it?
