Ledger Transaction List Report, Summarized Data

Dear,

I want ask : 

Why in ledger transaction list, we had summarized data, while the remaining rows has detail data.

Anyone ever experience this ?

Please advice.

how I could check the summarized data, I had click, voucher transaction showed up, but voucher number/journal batch number not auto filled so I don't know how to check the data.

    Hi Benjamin,

    These transactions are probably created using the subledger functionality. In the GL parameters, you can define if you want to have the subledger entries posted in summary or detail. If it is summarized, the accounting entries do not have the voucher details. Then you have to go to the subledger journal information for the details.

    could you explain more, I still not understand about transactions are probably created using the subledger functionality, could you informed what module/menu used for this.

    from which module/menu I could go to  the subledger journal information for the details.

    Hi Benjamin,

    There are some documents using the subledger framework to post GL accounting entries. You can read about it on the next page: docs.microsoft.com/.../what-s-new-ledger-and-subledger-lines-and-distributions

    These entries are first created as subledger entries and using a "transfer", it will be moved as GL entries. There is a choice to do this summarized (multiple vouchers per GL entry) or in detail (one-on-one). If the summarized option is enabled, you will have only the voucher number in the subledger entries; not in the physical GL entry itself.
