Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

Download for GP 2010 R2

We are getting ready to upgrade from GP2010 R2 and I cannot find a download to install on my test machine.  The Microsoft links no longer work.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can obtain the download and also a download of the R4 patch?

    Still true!  Thank you!!!

    I don't understand the difference between an organizational account and a Microsoft account.  I use the same user ID for CustomerSource, Outlook, etc.

    Fortunately, I have access to CustomerSource through my personal email as I do consulting on the side and was able to download using that.

    The one thing that comes to mind with this error is if you are logging in with an "organizational" account, the downloads don't work (for some reason, at least many months ago that was the case). The workaround was to log in with your Microsoft account instead.

    I don't know if that is your situation but a few months ago I was losing my mind on the same issue, knowing others could download files just fine (it wasn't my permissions and it wasn't the site itself). That's when a support engineer helped and told me the issue with using a AAD/O365 account to log in.

    Strange but perhaps still true!

    Jen,

    Thanks so much for the response.  The destination of that link is what I was using.  But your response got me thinking so I tried downloading GP2016 and received the same error.  I guess it was not that the downloads have been removed, I just can't download anything.  I have tried three different browsers from both my work and home computers and received the same error on all.  I submitted a Microsoft ticket for website problems, not sure if they can help with this, but we do not have any prepaid MS support cases.

    FYI - the error I am receiving is "Our apologies...An unexpected error occurred."

    Thanks for the CustomerSource download link.  I had that at one time, but lost it during a job change.  If I ever figure out how to download from there it will come in really handy as I upgrade from GP2010 to GP2018!

    Hi Marilyn,

    I can see it on CustomerSource using this link:  mbs.microsoft.com/.../downloads. On the left side of this page is a Products drop down menu and if you click GP2010 you should see the downloads that are available there still.
