CRM 2013: Base Language not showing

(1) ShareShare

Hello

We installed "Update Rollup 5 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1" last week, because we had several issues with UR 4.

- Base Language ist German.

- We installed additional the Language Packages for English, French and Italien.

Now we have one problem:

When we open CRM now, we have the most of the GUI in German (All Field Labels etc.). But also a lot of parts are in English (Menu, Navigation, Options etc):

What did we forgot?

Thanks

Raffi

    All,

I have just received an update from MS, and they have found the solution, but there is no timeline when this will be included in a weekly release. I will keep you guys posted.

    *** Update ***

Sorry for the incorrect message. I have several support cases open, and I received a generic message saying "the" issue was fixed. I assumed it was the language problem, but unfortunately it was not. I will keep you posted if I hear anything.

Last MS recommendation was to install rollup 5 without language update. So, basically just leave rollup 4 for CRM2013 Mui and install just the rest..

    Hi,

Language pack does not include all those resources, which are coming in english.

    Peter,

I just received some "news" from MS: They are having issues getting green light from the product group to develop a fix, but they are aware of the situation and are trying their best. So with this pace, we might as well upgrade all our customers to a newer version instead of waiting for a fix.

The update is that there is no update yet. They are still working on it, and it has been escalated high up in the support system, but no fix yet. Last update I got was May 22.

    Dear Arpita

As creator of this post, I allow myself to answer too. So you have more information available.

Checking the same version of the installed components is the very first thing, an admin would do ;-)

See also my screenshots in my second post.

    Have a great Day
