insert item table from SQL

Dear all,

i'd like to understand why if i create a SQL script to insert Items, i can see them in SQL but not from the table in BC14. I'm not interested to import them in another way, i'm interested in knowing what i miss (and the reason why i can't see them).

I tried to refresh and also to run a Codunit (selectlastversion), but i can't see them.

I tried to insert also records in table "integration record" but is not enought.

Have you any idea, what i have to manage to see them from table/page?

Thanks

Alberto

    Hi Alberto,

This is not best practice and not recommended by NAV Business Central.

When data is inserted directly using SQL either through script or some query. The data validation triggers codes written on the table level in business central /NAV is not executed. That's why this practice is very risky and not recommended.

its better to use web services to insert data in business central table.
