Database Log Report using reporting services

The Database Log report in AX(4.0) is not good enough. We need much more functionality. We are using Reporting services for most reports but we are having problems decoding the data filed in the SysdatabaseLog table. We need to know the fieldid, new value old value. Does anyone know how to do this in a stored procedure or .NET

Hi, what fields in sysDataBaseLog are you having trouble with?  The two main fields should be the "table" field and the "LogRecId" field.  The logRecId should correspond with the recid that is assigned to the table Id, which gives you the transaction, the trans record and what type of transaction (insert, update, etc).  Logtype field.

I'm having proplen with the field called "data"of type image. In this field I can find what filed is changed in the record, the old value and the new value

Table browse sysDatabaselog using the AOT and click on that field in one of the records.  It looks like it holds some containers that store modifications to the recid of the table.  As far as decoding what you actually see in the SQL table (OxF902345345......) I am not quite sure.  You can do this in x++ however, just look at the sysdatabaselog report.
