No users on Dev Environment for 2015 On premise Dynamics

Hello,

Recently it was found that our Dev environment (Dynamics on Premise 2015) had no active users, as there were only 2 registered users on it and both appear no longer be working for us, so their accounts (for the VM the System is ran on) have been closed.

This has caused issues as we require dev for testing and are unable to login.

Is there a way to create a user on an on-premise environment, without being able to log in to Dynamics itself?

Hello Cbgraham,

Hope you are well.

There might be some ideas to do what you want without unninstalling and reimporting the organization, but i would imagine it would be feasible to go that way.

Did you evaluate uninstalling CRM, dropping mscrm_config, install again and reimport the DB with new mappings?
