Project Timesheet Bug - Company Default not working

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

In Project Timesheet Entry (TM.PTE.00) a line item is entered to a project and task and employee with hours. Company field populates. The entry is saved.

Change the project on the entry, select a task and the company field no longer populates. Has anyone seen this?  Search of Customer / Partner source did not return any results that were relevant.

Thank you Carolyn, I was able to speak with Dan Fleming who submitted the bug. Sorry for the multiple contacts (it's a long story) and thank you for your response.

    Hi Ggraystreet,

This issue you are describing is due to bug 25340.  It is currently being considered for a future release.  I don't have any further information about it at this time.  The only workaround is to fix the entry so there is a valid company id.  I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
