How to embed SSRS report content in Email body (MS CRM 2016 Online)

HI All,

I am having a requirement to send mail to customer with a report attached in PDF format and same report content need to be copied in Mail body too.

Retrieving report and attaching as attached i have done. Need suggestion ow to embed report content in mail body.

Working on MS CRM Online version.

Any Inputs would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    What you can try is to render report as HTML and inject retrieved HTML to email body.

    Thanks for inputs.

    From JS I am am able to get response by building report for MHTML format : ContentDisposition=OnlyHtmlInline&Format=MHTML

    Response Type is in : arraybuffer

    Here can you help now how to render this array buffer in HTML format.

    For converting Report response in Binayformat i am doing like this:

    BinaryArray: function(buffer) {

               var binary = '';

               var bytes = new Uint8Array(buffer);

               var len = bytes.byteLength;

               for (var i = 0; i < len; i++) {

                   binary += String.fromCharCode(bytes[i]);

               }

               return window.btoa(binary);

           },

    Need suggestion how to convert report response in HTML format

    Fairly it was just a suggestion that you used. I have never tried that before so good luck in transformation.

    To suggestions posted in previous replies I can add only one (sorry for so obvious suggestion) - open VS and try to do something.

    Good point for telling to Open VS.

    I think i have opened VS & Notepadd++ and working on same and came up with query above. It will be fair if  u can touch base on query.

    Reasonably i would appreciate solution oriented point sharing
