Hi,

I have question regarding movement.

Do D365FO have a functionality to move partial box/ partial pallet with warehouse mobile as a box/pallet to another location without counting what's inside box/pallet.

I have a customer who have a lot of srcews etc in boxes and they wish to move boxes to another location without counting what's inside.

Its easy to do these steps if boxes and pallets are full but im wondering if this possible to do as I discribed?

Can somebody inform me how to do it?

Thanks,

    Hi Sami,

Why wants your customer to do a movement for a 'partial box'?

    HI,

If you want to move a partial box/pallet then it's obvious you need to specify the partial qty as the system cannot determine this on its own.

If you wish to move complete boxes and pallets than below works like silk

Its best practice to handle inventory in inventory handling units only as partial stock movements make working in warehouse very hard.

1 - Unit conversion setup for item

    2 - On hand situation

3 _ Mobile device movement (You get the option to select units in which you want to transfer)
