How we can create pages in CRM equivalent to the Salesforce visual force pages ?

I want to migrate Salesforce metadata to Microsoft dynamics. I want to create a page which contains some drop down(with static data) and text fields(blank). We use these text fields to create a record of existing custom object. After creating record, a link to that record appear on this page. Is there any way to create a page like this?

You could have a url field on this page and then build a workflow that creates your url based on the data input. This url should then link back to your Salesforce record. You'll need to load an external solution to give you the capability to do string manipulation, there are a few on codeplex.

My question is that can we create a page in Microsoft dynamic like we create visual force pages in Salesforce. If yes then how? I already have this page in Salesforce. I just want to create similar in Microsoft Dynamic CRM.

    Hi Kushal,

I'm not familiar with the page you're referring to in Sales Force, but you can build a page to do almost anything in CRM (if you're willing to put in the work). In CRM you can upload html pages that have javascript on them, so you could build the forms and implement your business logic using js. When you want to see the page in CRM, you can either embed it as an iFrame on an entity form or make it its own section in the menu. If you went down that road, I'd check out the client side programming reference ( msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg328255.aspx ) and Use JavaScript with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh771584.aspx).

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you marked this as Answering your question.

    Thanks,

     Aiden

Thanks Aiden. Can I also embed pages in Dynamics Mobile app?
