Gift Receipt

Anyone having trouble using the gift receipt option in FP2?  I keep getting this message when trying to print a gift receipt from the journal:  "Before you can print gift receipts, you must select updated template files in Store Operations Manager".  I did that but obviously I'm missing something.

    I don't know if this is right or not but I set Receipt Printer 1 to print the "normal" receipt and Receipt Printer 2 to to print the gift receipt.

    Hi Krista,

    You need to re-select the latest template from the store operation manager and then gift receipt will work.

    Store operation Manager->Database->Registers->Receipt formats.

    Thanks for the replies.  I can't use the Receipt Printer 2 because that is already being used for my windows printer for layaways, quotes, etc.  SDDXB--I went in and re-selected my current template.  Is that correct?  Or should I have selected the gift receipt template?

    Its correct. You need to select the latest template in the default Store operations\Receipt templates folder.

    Okay, so it only works with the default template called "receipt.xml".  What do I need to do to have it work with our custom receipt template?

    The changes in custom receipt need to be updated in the default RMS receipt
