Subscription billing with introductory offer

Hi

Please can someone help with this scenario.

I need to setup a 12 month subscription which has an introductory offer and then a flat price for the remaining term. For example, 3 months @ $4.99 & 9 months @ at $9.99.

I have tried creating a Service item, which has multiple sales prices posted via a trade agreement (with start and end dates). However, when I create the billing schedule for 12 months and then view the billing details, the same Net sales amount is shown for each month.

I would expect the future billing details to follow the trade agreement prices. Is this possible?

Has anyone had a similar scenario and can advise.

Thanks

    Hi,
Can you provide more information (e.g. screenshots or system settings, etc.) to help us better resolve the issue? Isn't the information you provided at the moment sufficient to support us in proposing a solution?
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Thanks Kevin & Saurabh

I have now managed to resolve this issue. It seems that the future Trade agreement only works if the pricing method is Standard, not Flat. (I am not sure if this is a bug or working as intended).

In case it helps anyone in the future, the solution is below:

    • My Service item has a Sales price of 9.99:

    • I also have a Trade agreement based on future Date periods:

    • I create a Billing schedule from 01/01/2024 to 31/12/2024 and add the Service item to my line:

    • When I view the billing schedule, the price for April to December is correct:

    Happy days :)
