We have recently purchased Microsoft POS 2.0 for our small business. We are trying to set up credit card processing using First Data, my merchant account rep had sent us our information to input into our system, but under the First Data set up screen none of the information matches, our rep sent us a MID number a TID number and a platform name, none of which can be input into the set up screen for First Data, our set up screen asks me for completely different information, a merchant id that is only 6 numbers instead of the 7 my rep sent me, a deployment token, store id and store key.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this working, is there an update or something, some kind of patch that has changed the set up screen? I have been back and forth with Microsoft and First Data and no one can tell me what I need, they both just pass the buck back to one another lol. When we purchased the product, the information said you can accept credit cards, we are trying to use it to accept credit cards and nothing seems to work.
