Will BYOD clean up data regularly? I was wondering if the DB size for BYOD will keep increasing.

Hi LB developer,

The BYOD is not cleaned up automatically. If you delete data, reports will provide other insights. If there is a need to clean up data, you can implement clean up jobs yourself. You can also consider using Azure Data Lake where the storage is cheaper compared to BYOD.

Hi, As Andre mentioned, there is no OOTB jobs to cleanup BYOD Data. You can either clean up manually (if required) or write Azure Functions to clean up data in Azure SQL Database (BYOD) as specified in below article.
