Referencing Jquery version 3.4.1 conflicting with Jquery version 1.12.4

Posted on by 30

Hi,

We have a requirement to add masking for phone numbers, zipcode in the entity form in Portal. Masking in power apps is not supported in the portal side.

So, we added .js file with input mask functionality under web files. Then referenced in the entity form. But when using the input mask functionality , it is throwing error . If I add noconflict, CRM framework javascripts giving error.

Can you please let me know the version of Jquery included in CRM. And is there any way we can add mask functionality for phone numbers?

Thanks,

Mey

    Hi partner,

Unfortunately we could not replace the Jquery file in portal, it is by design.

Yes. I was using higher version than the base version of CRM. If i use the same version as CRM , then it works fine. Is there a way to upgrade CRM Jquery version to the higher version ?

    Hi partner,

Looks that the JS file you added into portal uses the different base jquery version with the portals'.

I've found another sample for you here.
