Are there self learning online course for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations development ?

Hi all,

As subject, do you guys have any references or advice where I can find a good self learning online course for D365 F&O development / programming ?

I'm looking the one with a video in it with clear steps, for example like Udemy when there is an instructor in the video (sound). I only can find AX2012 but not D365.

There is MS learn, which is completely for free.

On the following site you can apply various filters - among other for development focused courses.

There is a lot of stuff available there.

Below exam is retiring this year in June but if you visit the self paced training options , those take you to DLP where all related to Dev is explained in vedio. Hope its going to help you.

Hi Tony Zhong,

Tutorial videos about development related stuff are not very common because what is it that you want to document (how somebody enters a line of code?)

What I would recommend is checking out what other technical experts, such as Sukrut, Satish, etc. share on their blogs.

In addition, check out the following community blogs (community.dynamics.com/.../b), the webinars (community.dynamics.com/.../webinars) and the techtalks (community.dynamics.com/.../techtalks). You can also have a look at various youtube channels but there you have to be a bit careful about finding the right videos and channels for F&O.

Hello again,

Sorry and understand that this topic has been answered, and I did find a helpful place (from the mbspartner) to start learning.

There is one thing I have not yet find, which is the reporting in D365 F&O. I only found for AX2012 R3 which is on this link mbspartner.microsoft.com/.../1120

I guess it is not the same, although the basic is same, but like the setup (report server etc) and the query creation and all, whilst AX2012 R3 still use MorphX IDE, all this I believe no longer valid for D365.

I probably missed when I'm doing search, is there a course for this reporting in D365 F&O ?
