thanks for your answer
Hi Somayeh,
From the screenshot, it looks like you are not on V9 which is why we are able to create a lookup field of order product but you are not. In previous versions, as you noticed, it was not possible to relate quote product entity.
You can however still create a lookup field of your custom entity on Quote Product.
Hope this helps.
tanks Ravi , please see this pic that i attach ,
i just add subgrid of quteproduct delivery into quote product and i dont have quote line instead of that i have quotedetail ,
thanks for your care
thanks alex , i dont have Quote Line in CRM , its quoteDetail
Not sure why but this is working for me and for Alex as well above. As I said, don't bother about relationship, directly create a field of lookup type in your custom entity. It should work.
Thanks Ravi ,sorry i cant attach image i try attach it , i dont know why ? But in crm 365 i have quoteproduct that is name is quotedetail not quote item i think its another entity that i dont need it , and i can not add look up of quotedetail in each entity not custom not built in entity , and its because this entity dont let 1 to n relationship ,
Hi,
You don't need to have a relationship inorder to create a field. The relationship will be created automatically when you create the field. I have tried this on my entity and it worked as expeced.
Open you custom entity (Settings >> Customizations >> Customize the system >> {Your custom entity} >> {Custom Entity Main form} >> Within the form editor, simply clcik on "New Field", give it a name and select Lookup as the field type and then select "Quote Line". This will create a lookup field and internaly this will also create the 1:N relationship.
It is possible that the name of the Quote Line entity is changed so you don't see that with that name. If thats teh case, check the name and use that.
Hope this helps.
