The users are aware that 2010 is no longer supported however, they need to manually update the W-4 in Business Portal and are wondering if that is possible. Their upgrade is not scheduled until the dust settles in March.

Hi Nola, Beat is right, that there was not any change but making the year from 2015 to 2016. The W4 form stated the same. We would have no workaround for the form, the customer needs to upgrade to GP 2013 where BP will still be supported for a few more years or the new self service in GP 2015.

if you haven't changed anything to your GP2010 setup (since no service packs are available anymore), there should be no changes in the W-4 neither..
I don't know specifically for this form, as we are a Canadian company, but I believe that this is similar to our T4 at the Federal level... We used to have the same form years after years in a 3rd party payroll web application, but only when new fields had to be added to the form, we had to upgrade our site. Since GP2010 has no updates anymore, the form will have to be printed somewhere else I presume, if there were any changes in it.
