When I have created a On-hand counting journal, half of the expected items is missing. What can be wrong?
Hi Maran,
When you create counting journal, make sure you are selecting appropriate parameters to add lines in journal.
For example:
1. Click on create button and select "On hand" option to bring only items that has on hand inventory.
2. Click on create button and select "Item" option to bring all the items regardless it is available in inventory or not.
3. While creating journal, make sure your date criteria is correct, counting by setting is appropriate.
In addition to that, also follow the below instructions from Microsoft docs:

Thanks for your answer and sorry for late respons. We found out that some of the items was already in a unposted counting journal but for another site and warehouse. Is it not possible to count the same item for different warehouse at the same time?
