How can i achieve multi select lookup in Dynamics 365.?
Initially it can be achieved through javascript code in crm 2013. But the same script cannot be used in CRM 365 , since it is throwing few errors due to some unsupported jscript functions.
The client is not interested in Sub-grids.
Can someone please suggest a way to achieve it.

Agree with Goutam, there is no sstandard/ straight forward way to achieve the multiselect loookups. The best / recommended way is to create 1: N relationship and display it as subgrid on the records.
Even if you find a way to achieve this with some javascript code, there is no gurantee that it will work in future with the updates going on so frequently.
Unfortunately there is no easy or out of the box capability to do multiselect lookup. You may go for custom HTML web resource in this scenario.
My personal opinion is to convince customer accordingly to go with subgrid approach.
