I would like to know that will the database table name added a string after upgrade from NAV 2013 r2 to Business Central?

For example,
table name in NAV: abc

table name in BC: abc$sfrsafcq4e1dfesf

Is this a standard for the table name of the database in BC? Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Kenneth,

Yes, this is standard for Business Central table names in SQL Server. The added string is the ID for the BC Application which created the table object. Most of the tables will have the Application ID belonging to the Microsoft Base Application. Hi, yes this is a standard.

Because we need to use new Extension way to develop BC, the GUID of extension is recorded after the table name.

The same goes for Microsoft's standard extension.

    For example,

    pastedimage1657675259989v2.png

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.

Thank you, so unless I need to change the table names in each queries, is there any other method can help if I want to reuse the SQL Queries from NAV to BC easily?
