    Hi Sahara,

It seems your security role is associated with child business unit, but in solution you can only add root parent business unit security roles. you need to recreate them on root business unit to include to solution.

    Hi,

Not sure where you are looking for the security role . Please check  Under Solution (Expand)--> Security Roles --> Click on the navigation you will find the roles .

If you not find any roles under Security Roles navigation then I would suggest click on add component and add security roles again clicking on Add Existing button.

    Hi Mahendar,

If I am not wrong  adding security roles in the does not solution depends on Business Unit. What I understand solution is in under organization and if anyone can see the security roles  and add the security roles in the solution then ideally he should see the roles , what do you think ?

    Hi,

You can only include root parent business unit security roles in a solution. So please check your security role business unit.

Hey Mahender,  if I don't create it on the root the only option is to create a "copy" in my other environment (the one I want to pass the security role to) ?

    Hi,

Not sure I understand it clearly, but you can create or copy the most matching security role and modify it accordingly. Root business security roles will be automatically inherited by the other BUs so it will be automatically available to them.

@Goutam - It is the default system behaviour , you can only include root business unit security role in solution and this is a best practise to always create/modify security role in the root BU instead of the child.
