Hello there!

We will follow following  process for job order planning

Manual process:

In job planning lines I am adding items which are assembly items i.e. BOM.

Now I need to go to order planning for Assembly order.

But I want to make this order of assembly by job queue as and when I create job planning line.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance

Best,

DIxita

    Dlxita,

    If I follow you, you want to have BC tell you what needs to be Assembled and create the Assembly Orders, yes. You can run Requisition Worksheet to generate Assembly Orders, especially for M-T-S based on planning parameters. Is this what you want?

    Thanks,

    Steve

    I assume you want the calculate plan to be on the job queue so you don’t have to wait for it to run? It uses codeunit “Order Planning Mgt.” and calls a function specific to the demand selected. So in your case you would need a report or codeunit object to call a function from the mentioned codeunit called SetJobOrder();

    The no development equivalent would be to use the planning worksheet instead. The calculation for that uses a report called “Calculate Plan - Plan. Wksh.”
