Hello,
How to hide a field in a form, is it done when we create it ?
Hi,
You can hide a field using the form edito, you can find a video tutorial in this blog:
ascendix.com/.../
You can also use a business rule to show/hide a field based on a condition, check this video:

Hi John,
Microsoft have published a public facing article docs.microsoft.com/.../common-field-properties-legacy which talks about the properties of a field. Visibility property is used to show or hide the field on a form
Also if its based on any condition, then you can use Business rule as per the given article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/visibility-options-legacy
Based on your requirement, you can show/hide in many other ways like JS, plugins, workflow. However we would recommend to leverage our OOTB functionality given within the organization.
If this helpful, kindly mark this as verified.
Regards,
Rakesh
