Hi All,

Facing an issue in inventory journal and in the transfer order. I am purchasing an inventory item in three different unit like in one kg pack ,5 kg pack and in 16 kg Tin. Unit of conversation between kg and purchasing units already define. Inventory unit for this item is kg.

Is there is any way to changes the  unit at the time of creating transfer order and at the time of creating transfer journal. We want to select the same units unit which we using for purchasing.

Thanks in advance

    Dear All,

For the above requirement we done a customization for additional units information.

The unit which we define with item for intra or inter class for purchasing will reflect on transfer journal and transfer order and users will required to select the unit for transfer order or transfer journal.

On above customization base a report will also develop for comparing physical  stock with system.

    Hi Brandon Wiese,

    Thanks for your reply

If possible than recommend anyway for customization. And which issues we are required to forecast for this customization.

Neither the Inventory transfer order or the Inventory journal of type Transfer support alternate units of measure in the way that Sales orders and Purchase orders do.  They are designed to work entirely within the inventory unit of measure.
