FA - Derived books - causing error Account number for transaction type Fixed assets, credit does not exist.

Hi,

When I try to post an PO invoice where the asset group belongs to a book which has derived books, I get the error message 'Account number for transaction type Fixed assets, credit does not exist.'

how do you know the problem is the derived books?

does the error go away when you remove all the derived books?

Are all the derived books not acquired yet, or acquired but allowing multiple acquisitions?

This might also be caused because of an invalid Acc Str combination, make sure that the accounts are defined in the Acc Str
