    Hi Santhosh,

For what reason do you need such a document?

Do you need to modify the standard budget planning functionality?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Thank you for your reply@Ludwig.

One of my existing customer wants to use budgeting module now, so we should implement it additionally. They are currently using GL,AP, AR, Cash & Bank and some others.

So we should prepare business requirement document, can you help me the basic or most important things that should be covered in this document?

    Any samples/guidelines would be helpful.

    Thank you

    Hi Santhosh,

FRD/BRD are generally prepared based on customer discussion and requirements provided by customer. As you mentioned that you have already implemented other modules so you can use same template for this as well.

We should not use multiple template.

    hi santhosh,

Use BPM (Business process modeler) from LCS to prepare functional requirement document on budgeting.  I've attached sample of budgeting requirement sheet just to give you an understanding and starting point to prepare your FRD based on your customer requirement.

    Good Luck.

    Good morning santhosh,

I don't see a value added from such a document if you simply want to implement the standard budget planning features.

That is because there is a comprehensive documentation available for this module already.

    Please see: docs.microsoft.com/.../budget-planning-overview-configuration

In case your customer cannot go along with this standard feature and wants to have some changes made, such a document makes sense to me. Yet, then the question is what changes you need.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
