Creating a Recurring Newsletter Customer Journey

Hello, 

I have a subscription newsletter all set up that will send monthly newsletters (new template each time).

Is the best practice here to create one Customer journey, set it to be recurring and just update it or create a new one each time to have the new template? Everyone will be entering at different times but it will be from the same subscription list. Any best practice help for this matter would be much appreciated!

    Hi,

    It is not recommended to create the journey as a recurring one cause the email template is new each time and once a journey becomes live, the email template in its step cannot be changed.

    You can consider to create the customer journey as a template, which allows you to save the process of having to reset the steps in the journey each time.

    You just need to change the email template in the journey template.

    As well,  if it is only one journey, should I be updating the email template only while live and then it will give me a lump sum of stats?
