We are currently running Dynamics AX 2012 R3. We recently converted to RemoteApp. We are trying to find a way to allow our users to open MSG and EML files without needing to purchase a volume license or upgrading everyone's O365 account. I have looked up a number of freeware applications and nothing is providing the correct experience. I am hoping that someone else has encountered this and has a solution.
Not sure about outlook and what you want to achieve .but if you want to use Excel Exports to Local Desktop then you can install "Remote Desktop Services Integration Component" , Under Client Components of the AX2012R3 Installation Media.
Can you explain your Exact requirement ?, because users can login to their email from their local desktop , while using remote app without any issue .
