Hi we are upgrading from CRM 2011 to D365 online. The CRM 2011 system has a managed solution at the base with lots of unmanaged customisations applied afterwards. We are unable to obtain an unmanaged version of the managed solution so I am wondering what are the options going forward. How can i bring the solution online.

You can use the OP2OL factory to have Microsoft upload your database and upgrade to the online version. The database holds all the solutions. Then you would have to create a new solution and add existing tables, views , etc and mitigate the managed solutions. unfortunately without the unmanaged solutions, there s not a magic bullet.
